Knowing and using many keyboard shortcuts is an essential part of GNU Emacs productivity. It is not easy to become good in this area: there are hundreds of shortcuts worth learning, but some shortcuts are seldom used for some workloads thus easily forgotten in a while. It takes a few minutes to lookup the right shortcut in Emacs/Gnus/Org-mode manual, which is too long. I have been using printed reference booklet for learning shortcuts since a year ago, and it works well for me: I have learned hundreds of new shortcuts since then.
The booklet is written in TeX, and it is based on various reference cards. Many shortcuts were taken from Emacs manual, some from the source code. The booklet also contains shortcuts of complementary programs XMonad and MPlayer.
Version 3 is in development. You can download its TeX source. It includes new shortcuts in Version Control and Macro editing. Conkeror and urxvt shortcuts have been removed. Scheme, Picture, DocView, Image mode sections have been added.
Version 2 was released 2011-09-28. You can download its TeX source or A4 PDF. Org Mode section has been extended to include function names, many missing Gnus sections have been added; EMMS, Outline mode, Nroff sections have been added, TeX mode section has been extended by shortcut descriptions, and formatting has been improved.
Version 1 was released 2011-09-19. You can download its TeX source or A4 PDF. The only supported output format is A4 PDF. The booklet contains shortcuts for Emacs core/common functionality, Dired, Emacs Version control, CEDET, diff and Ediff modes, Emacs shell and terminal, various development modes, Gnus, ERC, Org mode, XMonad, Conkeror, urxvt, and MPlayer. The booklet is not complete; some sections, function names, and shortcut descriptions are missing.
Here is a list of shortcut areas the booklet covers:
